SEGT 2024

The International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Green Technology 2024 is being held in Bangkok, Thailand from 15-18 December 2024. The conference is co-organized by Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Research Center of Energy Conservation (RCEC, NTUT), and University of the Philippines Diliman, Additionally, there are other supporting institutions such as National Cheng Kung University, Xi’an Jiatong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, De La Salle University, National Dong Hwa University, The University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and the International Association for Hydrogen Energy.

The SEGT 2024 theme, ‘Sustaining the Future with Green Energy and Clean Environmental Technology’ reflects the urgency of advancing sustainable solutions through technological and scientific breakthroughs.  With over 430 abstract submissions from more than 20 countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, India, Vietnam, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Turkey, Saudi Arabia etc. There are two plenary speakers: Prof. Ibrahim Dincer from Ontario Tech University and  Prof. Fariborz Haghighat from Concordia University, Canada. Additionally, keynote speakers include Prof, Niu JianLei, Prof. Yinping Zhang, Furthermore, there are four special sessions organized by Prof. Wei-Hsin Chen, Prof. Jo-Shu Chang, Prof. Zhang Yin & Prof. Dan Tsang and Invited speakers include Prof. Michael K.H. Leung, Prof. Kevin Chia-Wen Wu, Dr. Iris Yu, Prof. Marjorie Valix & Dr. Rohit Srivastava.
