On-site Oral Session 

1. Presentation time:

2. Presentation materials: Please bring your presentation materials in PowerPoint on a USB memory stick.
*no specific format required
3. Please upload your presentation material to the computer in the conference room by 15 minutes before the session starts.
4. Please wear your name tag and follow the instructions of the session chair.

Online Oral Session

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to attend the upcoming SEGT 2024 conference we will put in place an alternative solution to ensure your work can still be showcased: Pre-recorded video – video file format: MP4 (.mp4)

  • Maximum video duration: 10 minutes.
  • Video format: MP4, with a maximum file size of 500 MB.
  • Video dimensions: 1280 x 720 pixels (720p) – (aspect ratio: 16:9)
  • Video content: Presentation slides prominently featured, accompanied by the spoken presentation.
  • Encouraged: Include shots of the speaker’s head for improved engagement.

Poster Session

1. Presentation time:

* Poster evaluation will be conducted on 16 / December /2024 and 17 / December / 2024

2. Poster size: A1 size (841 mm x 594 mm) – All poster presenters must print and bring their posters (specific format required).

3. The poster’s Paper Number (submission ID) is attached on the top of the display board.
4. Items needed to attach the posters will be provided by the SEGT 2024 secretariat.
5. Please wear your name tag and be prepared to answer questions from poster session chair / panel.

Technical Tour

1. Bangpoo Environmental Complex
    (BPEC)  (Capacity 30 person)

waste-to-energy model facility locate in Bangpoo Industrial Estate. BPEC is a collaboration project between the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and Waste Management Siam (WMS) It is located in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate and constructively utilizes factory waste to produce steam and electricity advanced clean air technologies.

Fluidzed Bed Combustion
The Flue Gas Cooling System could provide steam and produce electricity via steam turbine generator. Bag Filter for dry gas treatment use for reduce CO2, NOx emission along with wet scrubber for wet gas treatment. Activated carbon tower technology use for minimized the DXNs’ production.

2. Siam Power Co., Ltd.  RDF (waste from landfill) to Energy Plant  (Capacity 42 person)

Siam Power Company has RDF plants with high quality equipment. Siam Power’s basic process involves identifying and separating materials that can be used for energy and burning them into power which can be transformed into electricity through turbines. While Siam Power’s CEM system continuously monitors the quality of air released in real time, taking advantage of the latest in air purifiers and reducing the emitted toxins, Siam Power’s industry standard Flue Gas Treatment purifies the released air and ensures its safety. This is an enormous improvement over the pollution caused by merely expanding landfills and adheres to international standards of environmental safety, as well as the codes required by Thailand’s Ministry of Energy.
