Technical Tour
1.Eastern Seaboard Environmental Complex, Waste Management Siam (ESBEC, WMS),
Chon Buri
ESBEC was the first fully licensed and permitted industrial waste management site in Thailand. ESBEC is a unique modern environmental facility designed and service for collection, recycling, waste water treatment, disposal of non-hazardous industrial waste and commercial waste. All water which comes into contact with the waste is pumped from the leachate collection system and landfill gas management and environmental monitoring programs, approved EIA’s and qualified operators.
2. Siam Power Co., Ltd. RDF (waste from landfill) to Energy Plant (Capacity 42 pax)
Siam Power Company has RDF plants with high quality equipment. Siam Power’s basic process involves identifying and separating materials that can be used for energy and burning them into power which can be transformed into electricity through turbines. While Siam Power’s CEM system continuously monitors the quality of air released in real time, taking advantage of the latest in air purifiers and reducing the emitted toxins, Siam Power’s industry standard Flue Gas Treatment purifies the released air and ensures its safety. This is an enormous improvement over the pollution caused by merely expanding landfills and adheres to international standards of environmental safety, as well as the codes required by Thailand’s Ministry of Energy.
